After June, I have set aside all my other Road Trip Rides.
Am now focusing on heading further North than that of the U.P.!!!!!! I have always wanted to get up there, and this is the year.
I think i have may talked MIke ( MRYCAR) in joining me. Come one come all...lets have some fun in Canada this year!!!
More planning to come. All are welcome. I asked a few questions on the GPS Adventure site.
We Know this: Want to take train to some location and ride back!! Camping is possible, but also considering Cheap motel/hotel, Looking for scenic ride. Rivers, falls, wildlife etc.... Looking at late Aug. early Sept.
Got to look at Vacation Time Calendar first before date is set!!!

2x2 & 2up with passenger can't be rode on shoulder of roads .that is why they trailered them to trail head on the video.not sure about fire/logging roads.i'm sure up there they might look other way.once on the trails your fine.from my experence

I posted this over at GPS site as well...Talking with Mudbear and then Mrycar we came up with this. The train ride sure sounds fun but "NOT" doing it can save us some $$$$!!!!
Well we came to the conclusion that we want to drive to Wawa from the Soo, Stay at a campground in the area and return to it everynight. This way, we can explore your area, head back for a shower and some rest and food and beverages around a fire and tell lies.
Any suggestions on a decent campground with fullhook up and facilities? Also, was thinking it would be nice to ride and/or spend some dinner time with folks from this site as well.
Early planning stages has us around 10 people so far. This can fluctuate +/- in either direction by trip time. But if i had to guess and bet on it, I think 15-20 come ride time in Aug/Sept.
Thanks again for any input!!! Tim

I will try to ride south to meet up with you guys. I will be on my KTM EXC Adventure Bike. Wawa is about 5-6 hours SW of me. I ride regularly with Gord Jones from Jones Powersports in Wawa. I prefer roughing it but am open to other accommodations.
