Here's what i know you need to get across to Canada or NOT??? A, Passport or Enhanced Driver Lic. If i have a EDL, do i still need to carry my Birth Cert?
Can i get over into Canada if i have any Felonies on my Record. Is a DUI still considered a Felony in Canada? No matter how long ago i got it. (And no, my record is clean thanks)
As for Quad Info, i think you need Insurance, Showing your covered in Canada. Do we need a trailpass?

This is what I found doing a google search:
A DUI is considered a felony in Canada and will prevent the holder from entering Canada regardless when it was issued.
An Enhanced Drivers License is acceptable in lieu of a passport but some agents may not be aware of that. It is recommended that the sheet from U.S. Customes & Border Protection that lists the EDL as an acceptable border crossing document be presented to the agent along with the EDL. If it were me, I'd go with a passport. Having dealt with border agents on both sides for years, I found it best and easier not to leave anything in question if it can be helped.
As far as insureance or the trail pass, I can find no info. Perhaps the people from GPS Adventure Touring would know?

The enchanted driver's license is only for getting back into the states. Canada does not require it. I would carry a copy of your birth certificate. I just photocopied mine and keep it in my wallet. It is usually tougher getting back home than it is crossing into Canada. True about old DUIs. We still have drivers than cannot cross. Even w/ Chrysler's influence...no go.
