Furnace sometimes kicks on and sometimes won't. Fan works... When it does kick on, heat blows normally to set temp. The problem seems to be getting it going!!! Thermostat clicks, burners may or may not ignite!?!?!?! Have been turning heat off at night. 62 deg and i am loving. The girls of the house however are not!!!! Any ideas. Even bought new thermostat today with no luck!! Thanks, Tim....and the cold girls

Tim this could be a few different things. Does your furnace have a circuit panel with lights ? Mine will blink in different ways (codes ) I had a hair line crack in the igniter . The fan would run but it would not always light. Different codes different problems. If you can read the code and able to replace yourself save a lot of $$$$

Thanks Chris... So far so good. House only dips down to about 62-64 with heat off. Thank goodness for those warmer days this weekend.

Well i went downstairs, yelled at Shaunna to turn on furnace. It took a few seconds, but then i saw the igniter spark up a small blue flame for about 2 seconds. But yet the burners failed to ignite. This happened twice...
