Good, a taker. Mike tentative plan would be more Camp and less ride. By this i mean wrap up riding around 3 or so. Should be plenty of time to set up camp. Find fire wood etc. Hoping to do this with a few inches of snow on the ground as well.
Question for you... 1 or 2 men tents. I figure with a 2 plus man, we can hopefully build up snow under tent with some high spots. Then, lay tent over it, this will give us a low spot for the cool air, and a warm higher spot for us.
Along with maybe some sort of heater.

Heck NO!! I have been freezing and It still hasn't got cold yet.. I suggest that you get some sort of insulating barrier between you and the snow and/or ground!! Hint straw works good! And have a REALLY good sleeping bag!
