How long do ATV batteries normally last - if they're kept on trickle charge during off periods and kept out of the extreme cold when not in use?
Is it like a car battery - where "4 years" seems to be the norm? I have a Yuasa battery that came in my Sportsman - back in early '04 - just wondering how long these things last.

I have changed all the machines batteries .....
the DS 650 has a 15 amp battery .....cost $90.00 and all these were bad from the factory in 2001 .....bad thing about that is you ont have a kick start ,,, come on CAN AM !!!!
both the Honda and Polaris have had theres change a few years ago ( cost around $50-$60 )
looks like the mustang will need a new one this year too ..... thats after 3 years though it sits all winter long ....
like all my toys every so often i do hook up a charger and start them up till warm !!!!
